Another 60th

So my Dad was 60 recently and we had to do him a book for his birthday too. We tried something a bit different by making a concertina book. So that we had two sides, one for this story and another for a walk we were going on with him.

Some of the spreads worked so that you couldn't see both halves until you folded it out.

Procrastination Issues 31. Pugs

I'm busy busy at the moment but that means I am also trying to find time to do a couple of other things too, as you do.

So here are some Pugs in the city, I had been looking on Gemma Corrells flickr and been inspired. I'm sure she will not apporve of my versions of her favorite dogs.

This also lead onto this,

Mr Norman Pickles being Gemma's Pug and Stanley Pickle being Vicky's main character. So Norman Stanley Pickles a merging of two great things.

Coloured Sketch

I was re-watching The Venture Brothers and drew this. Quite liked it. So thought it could balance out the crappy drawing I did earlier.

Very quick

To get it off my chest. I am an old man now, why do these people go to gigs and talk so loud you can't hear the fantastic band? Sigh.

You can tell they we're art school too. They stood facing away from the band rolling cigarettes. Rolling cigarettes is the only way.

Billy Childish still rocks and its was a fantastic gig.
